Our winter retreat, SnoFIO, is a weekend of prayer, Bible study, and fun in the snow. It begins at 6:00 pm Friday, February 22nd at Crossridge, and we will return Sunday around noon. We will be staying in three separate cabins in Rhododendron, Oregon. Our study this year focuses on the life of Joseph in Genesis - how Joseph maintained his faith and his integrity even when it seemed God had forgotten him.
March 3rd is our annual “Winter Baptisms and Chili Cook-off” celebration. This will be a great time for us to connect as our Crossridge family. If you are interested in being baptized, please contact pastor Joel. Baptism is a great way for people who believe to publicly proclaim that they are following Jesus with their lives. We are doing one service at 10:30 am that day because we want everyone to be able to celebrate!
We are doing one service on March 3rd at 10:30 am, followed by our all-church chili cook-off and winter baptisms. This is a great event, and we really want our entire church family there to celebrate with our people getting baptized. If you are interested in getting baptized or have questions, be sure to connect with pastor Joel at firstname.lastname@example.org.
This will be a great time! Get your chili recipes ready - chili will be judged, and prizes will be awarded. If you plan on coming, but do not want to make chili, please bring a can of chili for us to throw into a collective pot of chili. Cornbread and crackers will be provided. It’s going to be a fun event.
